3arrefni ('we', 'us', or 'our') operates a private matchmaking service for Lebanese singles. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our service. By submitting your profile, you agree to the practices described here.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly: your full name, date of birth, gender, phone number, city or district, height, education level, job title, hobbies, age preferences, location preferences, religion or values, and deal-breakers. You may optionally provide your Instagram handle, LinkedIn profile URL, and identity verification documents.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information exclusively to operate the matchmaking service — to build your profile, identify compatible matches based on your stated preferences, and facilitate introductions when mutual interest exists. We do not use your data for advertising, analytics products, or any purpose unrelated to matchmaking.
4. Identity Verification
If you choose to verify your identity, you will send your ID document to us via a private Instagram direct message. Your ID is used solely to confirm that you are who you say you are. It is never stored in our database, shared with other users, or used for any other purpose. Verification is entirely optional.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Your profile is never shown to other users without a mutual match. When an introduction is made and both parties consent, we share only the contact information needed to connect you (typically your Instagram handle or phone number). We use Supabase, a secure cloud database provider, to store your data. Supabase processes data in accordance with GDPR and other applicable privacy standards.
6. Data Security
Your data is stored in a secured database accessible only to authorised 3arrefni team members. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS. We apply the principle of least privilege — team members only access data necessary for their role. Despite these measures, no system is completely secure; we encourage you to reach out if you have concerns.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To make a request, contact us via Instagram DM (@3arrefni) or by email at info@3arrefni.com. We will respond to all requests within 7 business days. If you request deletion, we will remove your profile and all associated data from our systems.
